Cute things about Ty

how he gives a big grin after mum accidentally sprays his pee at his hair while changing him
his look of relief after struggling to burp
his wandering eyes
how he has a different sound for EVERYTHING he does
his many facial expressions

Ty turned one month last sunday and we had two parties for him. I'm glad the weekend's over, even though the parties were great fun. It's a little daunting having to settle a crying baby in front of so many people. Not quite confident with the whole motherhood thing yet. And it's nice to take the day slowly again.

Do we look alike?

Next to Daddy is Daddy's bodyguard (no no he is daddy's friend)called Poon Poon.. Daddy has known him for quite sometimes and your uncle is a crazy man. You will learn a lot of crazy things from him.

You must respect him maybe can kick his butt sometimes.

Message from Daddy

Hello Ty Boy..

Daddy just figured it out how this blog works haha... Well I am so excited of seeing you in April I hope you still remember who your dad is incase you might forget so daddy just upload one of the cool pics for you..

This is daddy's mother and she is your grandma.. She loves you very much and she will give a lot of pressies to you. Grandma loves to go shopping and shopping. So if you need anything she will definately buys stuff for you. And of course next to daddy's mother is your daddy. Daddy is just a little boy in a family so daddy is still mommy's boy.. But now you came to the World daddy has to become a real daddy now.

Here is Daddy's dad. It is not weird that daddy has a dad cos one day you will be become a dad too. Daddy's dad is your grandpa, he is so crazy about you and he usually says that you are the luckiest boy in the World.

Next to daddy' dad is daddy's sister. She is just 14 years older than you so she is your very older sister. She will give you a lot of her stuff even though most of them you might not be able to use it because they are for girls.

We love you very much Ty boy and hope to see you on the 5th April 2007.

Introducing....Ty!

So I finally get round to creating this blog. Being a mum definitely takes up a lot of time...it takes up ALL your time! But it's been a joy having Ty in my life.

Labour pain

Well the day started out with painful contractions at 6.30 in the morning. By 10am, contractions were occurring every 10mins and so I thought...hmm...maybe it's time to go to hospital. By noon, contractions were happening every 4mins and man..!! Didn't think labour would be THIS bad. I decided perhaps a completely natural birth wasn't what I wanted anymore. So bring on the epidural pleeeasse!

By 1pm, I was numb, midriff down and at about 4pm the pushing began...

Baby Ty - 25th February 2007

At 5.10pm, out popped the weasel! Born 3.36kg with lots of hair and a grumpy face (like mummy). Due to "poor maternal efforts", delivery was vacuum extraction and baby was born a cone-head. If you'd like to see a photo of baby when he was a few minutes old with umbilical cord in place, let me know. Didn't post it, in case some of you have weak stomachs.
